Thoughts on typography and layout

Thoughts on Typography and Layout is a project I undertook to explore type design and develop my long-form typesetting and layout skills. The project is a printed publication that contains 4 different essays on the topic of typography.

This publication was created by selecting suitable typefaces for the character of each essay to then typeset an effective and interesting layout that is legible and pleasurable to read. This resulted in a lot of experimentation with different typeface combinations and typesetting flourishes whilst trying to keep it fairly simple.
